MegaChoise processes the data needed to provide readings. For privacy matters, write to geral@megachoise.com.

Data used

We may process your name, email, question, birth date, time, location, coordinates and time zone supplied for the reading, language, essential technical data and purchase information. We do not store full card details; payment is processed by Stripe.

Purposes and retention

We use data to create and deliver readings, provide support, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations and measure service performance. We retain it only for as long as needed for these purposes and obligations.

Sharing and rights

Data may be processed by essential hosting, payment and email providers. We do not sell personal data. You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection through the support email, subject to legal obligations.

Age and nature of the service

The service is for adults aged 18 and over, for personal guidance and reflection. It does not replace medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

Legal bases and automated readings

We process order data to perform the contract and deliver the reading, billing data to meet legal obligations, and data strictly necessary for security based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service. Optional statistics require your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Interpretations are generated automatically from symbols and supplied information for entertainment; we do not make decisions with legal effects about you on that basis.

Cookies, local storage and statistics

We use necessary storage for your selected language, order recovery and cookie preferences. The language cookie lasts up to one year and the local preference remains until removed in the browser; the order token is removed after the reading is recovered. The consent choice is kept for 180 days. Accepting statistics is not required to browse or purchase.

Only with your permission do we load internal statistics: a random identifier in sessionStorage for the session, the visited page without URL parameters, the referring domain, approximate country, and device and browser type. We do not send your question, name, email or order token to these statistics. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops collection and removes the identifier from this browser. You can review your choice under “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

Providers and data transfers

Hosting and the database use Cloudflare infrastructure through Sites; Stripe processes payments and Resend handles transactional emails. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under applicable contracts and transfer mechanisms, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where required. We do not sell your data or load advertising pixels on the site. Fonts on the main pages are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives technical data needed for the request, such as the IP address.

Retention and exercising your rights

We keep orders and data needed to provide access to readings and support for as long as those purposes remain; payment records are retained for legally required periods and as needed to resolve complaints. Closing your browser does not automatically delete the data. You can ask about retention and request deletion of data that is no longer needed.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, where applicable, at geral@megachoise.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect previous lawful processing. We normally respond within one month and will inform you if a lawful extension is needed. You can complain to your country’s data protection authority, such as CNPD in Portugal, AEPD in Spain or CNIL in France. Required information is necessary to fulfil the order. Avoid providing sensitive data or third-party data without a lawful basis to share it.

Data and purpose for each reading

Forms identify required and optional fields for the selected service. Your first name personalises the reading, email enables access delivery and your question guides the interpretation. Full name and date are used in Numerology; date, time, place, coordinates and time zone are used for natal charts. Synastry uses these details for both people. Focus, context and goal are optional and tailor the guidance. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data.
